School starts up again this coming Monday (the 5th of February) and from 9am we will be hosting a morning tea in the meeting room at the Hackett Campus. Blue Gum Bushwalk

Come and join other Blue Gum families for a beautiful bushwalk.

Where: Bungonia National Park, east of Goulburn. It’s about 1hr 15min from Hackett, but well worth the trip.

Details:

This 6.7km moderate walk includes accessible caves, great views and varied terrain, and a good chance of seeing lyrebirds and falcons.  There are picnic spots as well as BBQs for hot cooking, if anyone fancies.

Details of the walk (called Green Track) can be found here: https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/things-to-do/walking-tracks/green-track

Where to meet (with toilets) is detailed here: http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/things-to-do/picnic-areas/de-kerrilleau-picnic-area

If it’s raining, or there’s a strong chance of rain, the walk won’t go ahead.

Please RSVP to Tanja (her email is on the Educa notice about this bushwalk) or to the committee at ffofbg@gmail.com and we will pass it along to Tanja.

Slow Sunday!

Each year the whole Blue Gum community comes together at our Hackett campus to eat, drink, and be amazed at the explorations put together by our students and educators for us to enjoy.

As usual, the Families and Friends of Blue Gum will be hosting a range of food & drink options to purchase on the day, and we’re asking for volunteers to bake and/or help serve on the day. Sign up at https://signup.com/go/eYWXWHM
