Slow Sunday!

Each year the whole Blue Gum community comes together at our Hackett campus to eat, drink, and be amazed at the explorations put together by our students and educators for us to enjoy.

As usual, the Families and Friends of Blue Gum will be hosting a range of food & drink options to purchase on the day, and we’re asking for volunteers to bake and/or help serve on the day. Sign up at https://signup.com/go/eYWXWHM

Blue Gum Parents Creative Nature Walk at Mt Majura

Come and join other Blue Gum parents to walk and create in a natural environment. Bring your sketch pad or camera, a notebook for creative writing, or even your needles and yarn; any portable art or craft.

This is a get together for adults in the Blue Gum community (not the kids this time), a chance to connect with nature and other parents while developing our creativity.

We will meet at the Hackett gate on MacKenzie Street at 2:30pm. We will then walk and explore for around 30 minutes before finding a spot to draw, paint, photograph, write, knit, have afternoon tea etc. As well as art or craft tools, also bring along water, your afternoon tea and something to sit on.
Date: Saturday May 6th
Time: 2:30pm – 4:30pm approx.
Location: Mt Majura Nature Reserve. Meet on MacKenzie Street.
Organiser: Emma Young (please find her number on Educa)
Send a text to let me know you are coming so we can set out when everyone has arrived.
